TANGARA

Tangara offers an outstanding academic program and a range of exciting co-curricular opportunities in sport, music, drama, public speaking, community service, leadership and much more. We believe that the best education develops the whole person: it integrates the pursuit of academic excellence, the acquisition of skills and the development of the student's character.

What sets Tangara apart is our system of personal mentoring which brings out the very best in each child. Every student, from Kindergarten to Year 12,  meets regularly, one-on-one, with a trusted mentor who works in partnership with the parents. Each child is treated as a unique individual and is led to discover her special gifts and talents, building strength of character and sound study habits.

Tangara is a non-selective school which respects the diverse learning needs of all our students.  The Catholic Faith and the teachings of Jesus Christ enliven a happy environment of care and respect. Students are taught the value of prayer and a personal relationship with God in their daily life. At the heart of all our endeavours is a conviction in the transcendence of human existence and the inalienable dignity of each person.
